Slack customer support
Your support desk, in Slack.
Mention @Asks in any channel or send it a DM and your AI agent answers in the thread, from the same knowledge it uses everywhere else. Conversations from your website, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger come to a Slack channel as threads your team can reply from — and the agent pings you when a customer raises a topic you care about.

Answers in the thread.
Invite @Asks to a channel and mention it, or message it directly. It replies in the thread from your docs and website, keeps the thread as context for follow-ups, and stays quiet until someone mentions it — your team can talk freely around it.
Work tickets without leaving Slack.
Conversations from your other channels post to a Slack channel as cards — every new one, or only those that need a person. Reply in the thread and the customer gets it on their channel; start with internal: for a note, ask @Asks for a suggested reply, or assign and close with one click.
Alerts on what matters.
Tell the agent when to ping your team — refund requests, bulk orders, an unhappy customer — and it posts a heads-up to the channel you choose while it keeps helping the customer.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
01Is Slack available in Asks?
Yes. Connect from Channels → Slack or Integrations → Slack in your dashboard — one install covers the AI agent in Slack, Slack threads, and alerts.
02How does the AI agent work in Slack?
Invite @Asks to a channel and mention it, or send it a direct message. It answers from the same knowledge base it uses on your other channels, in the thread or in the channel — your choice. Every Slack conversation also lands in your Asks inbox.
03Will the bot answer my team's internal messages?
No. In channels it only answers when someone mentions @Asks; other messages in its threads are kept as context for its next answer. You can also tell it to ignore messages from other bots.
04Can my team reply to customers from Slack?
Yes, with Slack threads. Pick a channel and choose whether every new conversation or only those that need a person get a card. A reply in the card's thread goes to the customer on their channel; start a message with internal: for a note, or mention @Asks for a suggested reply. Teammates need the same email on Slack and Asks.
05Does an alert hand the conversation to a person?
No — alerts only notify your team, and the agent keeps helping the customer. Handing over is what escalation does, and Slack threads posts a card when it happens.
