Three new channels: Telegram, Slack, and Discord

Asks now speaks Telegram, Slack, and Discord — bringing the lineup to seven channels, all answered by the same agent in the same inbox.

Your customers don't all live in one app, so your agent shouldn't either. Three channels joined the lineup:

  • Telegram— paste your bot token and you're live; each bot routes securely to its own workspace.
  • Slack — connect with one click of OAuth; ideal for products whose customers are teams.
  • Discord— bring your own bot, let the agent answer your community's questions in real time.

Together with the web widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger, that's one agent answering everywhere — and one inbox where your team sees all of it.

Telegram: paste a token, you're live

Create a bot with @BotFather, copy its HTTP API token, and paste it into Channels → Telegram. Asks validates the token and registers the webhook automatically — nothing to host. The bot answers direct messages (groups are ignored), there's no reply deadline, and media works both ways: photos, video, audio, voice notes, and documents arrive in the inbox, up to about 20 MB per file. Edits made in Telegram sync into the transcript.

Slack and Discord

Slack is a one-click OAuth install: click Add to Slack, authorize, done. By default the bot is conservative — it answers direct messages and @mentions only, replying in the message's thread — and per-connection settings let it keep answering follow-ups in a thread or respond to every message in a channel. Files shared with the bot are captured, and conversations carry the sender's Slack name, email, and avatar.

Discord is bring-your-own-bot: create an application in the Developer Portal, enable the Message Content Intent, invite the bot with a messaging-only permission set, and paste the token. Asks holds a persistent gateway connection — no public webhook to expose. DMs are always answered; server channels default to mention-only, with a Reply mode setting to widen that. Attachments up to 25 MB are captured.

These channels are rolling out and may not be enabled for your workspace yet. They appear under Channelsin your dashboard as soon as they're available. None of the three has a messaging window — you and the AI agent can reply any time.
