Knowledge limits you can count
Plans now meter knowledge in articles — 300, 1,000, or 3,000 — instead of megabytes. One written article, one uploaded file, or one crawled page each count as one.
“How many megabytes is my shipping policy?” was never a question anyone could answer. Knowledge base limits are now counted in articles: 300 on Starter, 1,000 on Business, 3,000 on Premium — where an article is one thing you can point at: a written article, an uploaded document, a crawled page.
The meter in the sidebar reads the same way, updating a page during a re-sync costs nothing — only genuinely new pages consume allowance — and if you need more room without a plan jump, +100 articles is a $19/month add-on.
What counts as one article
One unit is one thing you can point at: a written article, an uploaded file, or a crawled web page. Import 10 URLs and upload 3 files, and you've used 13 articles. The plan limits are 300 on Starter, 1,000 on Business, and 3,000 on Premium.
The accounting is honest about what's actually new. Updating an existing page during a re-sync costs nothing — only genuinely new pages consume allowance, so a scheduled re-crawl of a stable site won't creep your usage up. Failed uploads don't count either. Separately from the article count, a flat 2 MB per-item extracted-text guardrail applies on every plan — far more than any normal page or document needs, there to keep individual items sane rather than to meter your knowledge.

- Auto re-sync frequency is plan-gated: weekly on Starter, daily on Business and Premium.
