Cancel — and un-cancel — without talking to anyone
Schedule a cancellation from the subscription page on either billing provider; you keep full access until the period ends, and one click resumes.
Leaving shouldn't require a support ticket. There's now a Cancel subscription button on the subscription page — for card-billed and Shopify-billed workspaces alike — that schedules the cancellation for the end of your paid period. You keep everything until then, your data stays put after, and a banner with a one-click Resume undoes the whole thing if you change your mind.
Shopify has no native “cancel at period end”, so Asks emulates one honestly: your plan runs its full paid term and is canceled at the provider just before renewal — you can never be re-billed into a plan you left.
How canceling works
The Manage-subscription card on the subscription page now carries a Cancel subscription button — for card-billed and Shopify-billed workspaces alike. It opens a confirmation dialog titled “Cancel your subscription?”that states the terms plainly: your subscription stays fully active until the end of the period you've paid for, and there are no refunds for the remaining time. After the end date, the AI agent stops replying and workspace access pauses — but all of your data stays: conversations, knowledge base, channels, settings, everything. Leaving is never destructive.
Before this, the lowest plan had no in-app exit at all, and Shopify-billed workspaces could only cancel by uninstalling the app. Both paths were wrong; both are gone.

Changing your mind
Once a cancellation is scheduled, a banner appears: “Your subscription ends on {date}. You keep full access until then.” Next to it sits a one-click Resume subscription button. Resume any time before the end date and the subscription continues uninterrupted, as if nothing happened.

The Shopify detail
Shopify billing has no native “cancel at period end” — a canceled Shopify subscription ends immediately. So Asks emulates the period-end behavior itself: your plan runs its full paid term, and Asks cancels it at the provider shortly before renewal. The effect is what you'd expect from any honest billing system — you keep what you paid for, and you can never be re-billed into a plan you left.
